The Foundation created this award to honor the spirit of our founder Carl A. DeSantis who was a catalyst for positive change and generosity throughout his life.
Award recipients are chosen by the Foundation’s board and staff. One cannot apply, the Foundation scouts the community for people who exemplify the qualities and spirit of Mr. DeSantis.
Winners receive a cash prize that benefits their organization or cause and are celebrated at an awards ceremony.
