The grant supports a program called “Bout Dat Action”
Bout Dat Action keeps youth residents of the The Set (a neighborhood in Delray Beach, Florida) engaged in City Commission meetings, County, State and Federal Affairs that affect their lives and fosters relationships with the Delray Beach Police Department.
Youth plan and organize activities to support beautification efforts in The Set that may include clean-ups, paint-ups and other neighborhood projects. Youth involved in the program average three action events per month developing skills and relationships that will help them become successful citizens.
