SOS Children’s Villages Florida, located in Broward County, is a nonprofit residential foster care community established in 1993. The organization provides a nurturing environment for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment, with a particular emphasis on keeping biological siblings together. The Next Steps Program provides a wide range of services and assistance for young adults who “age out” of foster care ensuring that they can safely achieve independence.
